Anyone know what’s up with the white squares instead of alliance rank?

This isn’t much of a problem but I’ve noticed that alliance rank badge things have been swapped for white squares. This might be just a me problem but it’s the same on my phone and tablet.

    yeah, you can tell the difference in rank by the faint bits of white squares
