Is warlock worth AG?

So thanks to the dual crystals i finally pulled this dodgy badboii. Now i have enough sig stones to take him to sig 200 if i want. I know most people say he doesnt need it but you can also say corvus or cmm doesnt need theirs but they are extremely valuable still.

Now it would be a easy choice if it wasnt for a new champ called Guardian who i hope to pull in the future. I see a lot of value in Guardian and his dupe at max sig looks amazing aswell. So the real question is if i can justify using it and the stones on warlock or if i should wait for the day i hopefully pull Guardian.

Id also appreciate if those (if any) who vote warlock explain why they voted that and how usefull exactly it is etc.

His benefit after being awakened is a little more damage from degen. Guardian relies on the gem way more. Don't waste it on Warlock, perfectly fine without the ability

you never know when Guardian will show up .. but RNG always has it happen right after you use an AG lol ... still , i say use it on Warlock. he needs it in my opinion .. not to be good but to be better. the degen from the power burn/drain is pretty awesome to have.

I know he doesnt. But a lot of champs dont but still become a lot better with it. Thats why i need people to go deeper then just he doesnt need it. If that means its pretty much useless then say that. Thanks for your time appreciate it

Difference is warlock actually doesn't need it. It's a prestige sink and not much else.
His Sig basically gives him a bit of degen damage when you power drain.
Its good for defense but can be ignored on attack.

Can't really be compared to corvus or cmm who gain the ability to ignore fun and interactive damage

I don’t know how you plan to pull a Guardian. If you like Warlock, then he might be worth it for prestige and a feeing of completion when you are using him. I saw the guy who said he liked the degen was disagreed with. It’s not the best. It’s just icing on the cake and fun to have.

exactly. there are few situations in which a champ's sig ability is truly worthless. Warlock's makes him even better. it never hurts to exact more punishment on the opponent in as many ways as possible. i'd rather have all my tools in a fight ya know.

but yeah that was just my opinion ... we all have differing opinions which tends to be a shock to most people around here lol

I have both guardian and warlock at r4. Both unduped.

I feel guardian needs his dupe ability for reduced block and bleed damage.

I don't have tech aw gem... If I have one, surely i will use it on guardian.

A 5/65 sig200 warlock according to auntm.ai deals about 860 damage every time he power burns, which for a maxed 5 star, if this triggers 10 times in a row (which is kinda unlikely u won't find many constant regen champs out there) that is 8600 damage, which is kinda like 2 mediums, so honestly awakening and pumping 200 sigs for that extra damage isn't necessarily game changing especially when you plan on maxing out guardian, maybe by the time that happens you'd have awakened warlock naturally or even gotten the 6*
