Was THING and Colossus supposed to be immune to stifle

Per champion details, Annhilus has 100% chance to inflict Stifle when opponent Aor is broken.

Per my understanding, since THING and Colossus are immune to Armor break by Annhilus, they are supposed to be immune to stifle too.

While dueling Annhilus with THING. I have observed that Annhilus was still able to inflict stifle on my Champ THING.

Is it a known or new issue Or did I go wrong with my understanding.?

    So the way it works is that whenever Annihilus would inflict an armor break, he also inflicts a stifle debuff. He doesn’t technically need to apply the armor break to apply to stifle. So when he attacks Thing or Colossus, he *would* apply an armor break but since they are immune, he doesn’t. However, he still applies the stifle since he still tried to apply the armor break. It’s a little bit of a wonky interaction.
