I wouldn't recommend to use energy refills on act exploration because i made that mistake and still regret it...
Spent almost 1000 units on energy refills for act 4 exploration, yet I was still left with 1 and half chapter to explore

I am currently doing act 5 exploration. Been using mcoc-guide.com to see full map and enemies. As far as energy refills, there are full energy refills spread all over on the maps. I use maybe 5ish full refills per map. I have also been opening lots of cav free crystals and get ton of small energy refills also. Also glad you made this thread so i can flex my progress! Will be done tomorrow!! Good luck on your quest for elder bane!

Great progression there! Have u explored collector mission? It's the only thing left for me in act 5

Yea, i just have 5.4.6 left to finish. Collector was a struggle that first time I faced him. When I went back for exploration after progressing my roster and getting better champs he was no problem at all. And by the time I got to him the final time he was just easy to beat.

i'll leave here a file that really helped me while 100% exploring act 5, hope that it helps ^_^ it isn't mine, the user that first created this spreadsheet is probably a Reddit user, credits go to him, i only added images of the quests: the red line that you will see is because i used them to keep track of what path i took, if you find it confusing you can google "MCOC act 5.4.1/2/3/4/5/6 map" and you'll find the same images ^_^

5.4.6 ultron is proving to be quite a pain for me. Still have to fight him 4 more times. Went into a little rage last fight against him. I guess he is final final boss of the act so he should be difficult. Gonna have to do some youtube scouting to figure out best way to fight him.

5.4.6 ultron is proving to be quite a pain for me. Still have to fight him 4 more times. Went into a little rage last fight against him. I guess he is final final boss of the act so he should be difficult. Gonna have to do some youtube scouting to figure out best way to fight him.

I heard Loki is the MVP for that fight. Got a 4* Loki and a 4* AG, not sure how useful he will be though
