Why no 6* Quake might not be a bad thing.

Hear me out but after thinking about this for a long time and I’ve come to the conclusion that kabam not releasing a 6* Quake might not be a bad thing. I’ve mainly got 4 reasons.
To start of I want to say, I am not opposed to Quake. I don’t have her and when I've tried playing her she just hasn’t worked for me. None of the reasons I give below are “I don’t like her” or “I think she is to powerful”. I respect Quake as a champion but sadly one of the recurring themes in these reasons is the community and player base (I’ll elaborate further in a second)
1. RNG, and the problems that entails.
As with other exclusive 6* releases she will be most likely released in a featured Cavalier crystal. People will but these left right and centre and kabam will probably make tons of money on those crystals alone. However f2p and more casual spenders will be upset, cavalier openings are not exactly easy for a f2p player and the RNG element to crystals mean that even if you do spend a load of money, you are not garunteed the champion. Once she is added to a 6* basic again, RNG will mean that some players just wont be able to get her, this is a big problem as I will outline later.
Another issue with the 6* Quake is, unless it’s a R3 6* the difference between a 5* and a 6* Quake is minimal. This is more of a 6* problem than a Quake exclusive problem but it’s amplified in the fact that Quake is a champion who doesn’t have a huge damage potential, a lot of the reason she is so valuable is in the utility. Now of course she does have good damage, I will not deny that, but unlike Havok/Collosus/Corvus Glaive she isn’t known as a damage potential champion, but as a champion who can clear 99% of the game is played properly.
Going back to the R3 6* point, to get a R3 6* you will need a T5 science catalyst. Out of any given T5CC crystal the chance is 1/6. Even some very Endgame players don’t have T5 science catalysts let alone the general population. The fact that, without this incredibly rare and powerful resource, 6* Quake is not really any better than the 5*, and thus not worth the hassle.
2. Alliances and Prestige.
Now here’s a thought, in a top alliance if 6* Quake was released she would, once again, begin to dominate the Meta. (Assuming kabam remove Stubborn, which they really should). Quake would also be the key to a lot of further content, wether that’s Act 7, the summer of pain or anything really. Now if these are the only sustainable ways to obtain T5CC etc. And thus stay ahead in the prestige race then those alliance members who were not lucky/rich enough to get 6* Quake and a science T5CC will become almost irrelevant and, if the issue is too extreme, could just be kicked from alliances. This puts HUGE pressure on players within the top 50/20 alliances to spend as much as possible to get 6* Quake. Uproar ensues as people spend thousands for almost nothing, controversy and potentially point 3.
3. Balancing
If these issues do occur then kabam answer will either be, “get gud and spend more” or “fine you can all have 6* Quake”, both are potentially terrible.
Answer 1. It’s obvious why this is bad, it’s not a case of getting good but spending more and more, something that any rational person wouldn’t do. Eventually uproar with many of the bigger spenders being almost forced into quitting the game, kabam loses loads of money and the game could even shut down as a result.
Answer 2. Balancing issues galore. Who is eligible for a 6* Quake? Cavalier players? But what about newly Cavalier players who don’t really have to deal with high tier alliances etc? People who have 100% explored act 6? But some don’t want to have to do the whole of Act 6 just to stay in the alliance they’ve been in for years. People in top 50 alliances? Well as the saying goes “if everybody is super, nobody is”.
Bottom line is that balancing will go off the charts.
4. Future content.
Say 6* Quake was mainstream and people could take her to R4 (not saying this is soon BUT once we get to this stage), Kabam somehow made a way to not botch the release and none of the above issues have happened. Act 8 is around the corner, kabam need to find a way to make it challenging to all players. Players with 6* R4 Quakes. You could add a true strike node for the whole thing, but that would just remove Quake from the equation, people who ranked her up will be annoyed. You can’t just ignore 6* Quake and make the content because if you didn’t have her than it would seem impossible. Finally you can’t make it so that it’s difficult even for Quake, I mean it would be hardly possible if you didn’t have a Quake in that case.
It seems the only option kabam is left with, in order not to make Act 8 too easy or too hard is to nerf Quake. Do you want that? No. Nobody wants that.
In conclusion Quake will cause all sorts of problems. The game is fundamentally based on RNG, meaning that the release of such a powerful character will cause big issues. To stay at the top of the world Quake will be the centrepiece of any alliance, creating alliance based problems. There is no real answer to these issues that will result in everybody being happy (and something of such importance to the community means that kabam is at a real risk here). Finally further content, if kabam has to take 6* Quake into account, would cause problems, either it’s too hard, too easy or Quake is made redundant in everything.

this is mostly true until act 9 has six star restrictions
2. i dont think one character has the power to kick you from alliance, maybe if you are the best of the best, but then again those guys spend so. they have more advantages/bigger rosters so they might not get kicked
3. i dont think the balancing is how you are saying it is, kabam would not respond like that (i think). also, 6* should be availabke to everybody, just like when 5* quake was released!
4. they could just have bane, true strike, power gain on some of the fights, or have gates like only mutant or something like in variants or 5.3
But you know what? I agree. Not with all of your points, but Quake is game breaking. Even if she doesn’t come as a 6*, until something is locked to 6*s, people will still use the 5*, even when we have 6* R5’s. She’s that good.
Doesn’t really matter though, Kabam John said on Katy Candy’s stream the other night that she wasn’t coming for a long time.
Welcome to your 2020 Scarlet Witch.
still want her for collection purposes
Lots of ways to keep it balanced
Will would be able to do anything more (in terms of content) than a 5* 5/65 can do now?
The answer is NO.
She will be able to do exactly the same content, with the difference of doing it faster.
I personally can’t see any game break issues, more than the already existing 5* version 🤔
