Why is Summer Smackdown twice as hard as current Event Quest?

This question is based on Master difficulty.

In the current Event Quest the team rating in Master is around 8000-9000, but in Summer Smackdown it's 17000-18000.

Why????

    Because it's meant to be challenging?

    In master difficulty, 17000-18000 is around the PI of the final EQ boss. A boss rush is exactly what it sounds like.

    A Boss Rush means you are fighting the equivalent of Event Quest Bosses in succession. In this month's Event Quest the final boss Air-Walker is a PI of 19,800. That is right on par with all of the bosses in the boss rush.
