Variant 4.3.2 Hulkbuster Bug

I’ve encountered this myself, and I’ve seen others have this issue on Reddit.

Hulkbuster in Variant 4 final quest is broken. He doesn’t consume his armor up when applying a shock to you like his abilities say he does. This bug combined with the path nodes, make it impossible for any 1 star in the game to beat him without sinking tons of revives. I’m all for difficult content, but this goes beyond skill because the damage is 100% unavoidable with any existing 1 star.

Hey there, do you have any footage of this or would you be able to tell us who you were using or if any Boosts were active at the time?

I was using no boosts, and it happens with every character. I have a video, but idk how to post it here. I’ll include screenshots, and

FWIW, I was able to complete this today on my first try. I figured i would waste my energy and just do a trial run.

I was able to get thru HB with a 67% health Black Panther (which took HB down to ~25% health). Wolvy finished him off, and had 6 bleeds stacked, so that the self-repair wasn't noticeable. (I have 1 point in Despair.) It also helped that I used Wolvy's SP2 to finish the fight. (The bleeds increase the attack rating... for the attacker)

I used Vision for the rest of the path, and threw in a few Level 2 health potions (which I have dozens from Halls of Healing), except for Hulk for Mordo, and Wolvy for Moon Knight.

Frankly, HB was underwhelming. This was a very manageable path. From what I read in forums, it was supposed to be a nightmare. I figured using 5 revives at least. I hope this helps. That's the only reason why I'm responding.

EDIT: I also have Willpower maxed out

Anyway, I think it's not fair to put the new version of him on that path when the Variant 4 itself came out with his old version initially.

Not only that, he is also bugged just as mentioned.
He doesn't consume his Armor Up buff to apply shock debuff on you.

Meaning? Massive stack of shock debuffs on you. Crazy!
