Aarkus vs Medusa

I find this really confusing as on paper, aarkus is much better right? Higher damage, evade counter, tenacity, power gain. And yet, in actual play medusa feels much much better.

Medusa has ease of use when it comes to armour shatter. Aarkus is the better overall champ though

Medusa: High damage, doesn't need synergies altho they do make her better, reliable armor break, armor shatter, auto-block can be huge lifesaver. Doesn't need a ramp up like Vision Aarkus to deal good damage.

Personal preference, but Medusa gets armor shatter faster if you're looking to shut down robots.

Medusa is better for a couple of reasons
- Poison immune
- Easy access to 3 furies (buffed up counter
- Easy access to 3 debuffs (diss track counter)
- Can keep armor shattered on the entire match (Aarkus cannot)
- Very easy access to armor shattered (2 mediums then sp1, unlike Aarkus)
- Higher damage for the most part until Aarkus is fully ramped up
- Doesn't need synergies

Vision (Aarkus) is a great champion, but just not as good as Medusa.

Vision (Aarkus) is a great champion, but just not as good as Medusa.

Most of your reasons apply to both of them,
Vision is a better buffed up counter as his power gain buffs don't fall off unlike medusa's furies
Aarkus also stacks a lot more debuffs so he takes advantage of despair.
He also doesn't need synergies
While he doesn't have immunities he has tenacity and ignores 80% of power drain effects.
Easy access to coldsnap let's him counter evade champs.
He works great in abyss for killmonger and tech champs since you can rely on sp3 and heavies for his damage
Medusa is the better armour shatter champ but aarkus has more going for him

Medusa, saying she needs synergies is false she does not, she hits much harder than aarkus, aarkus has no immunities rendering him quite weak, its very easy to keep armour shatter up with her, she is amazing for disstrack, the best robot counter in the game. Shes amazing in war for all the annoying robots, aarkus is a better defender, but medusa is def better attacker and overall. mm 1 sp1 and robots are done for the fight.
