Warlock Vs Guillotine 2099

In any poll and in the community in general warlock seem to be getting a lot of love and g99 doesn't seem to exist,people really don't talk about her, I have even seen a few people call her underrated, don't get me wrong, they are both great champions, but what I just don't understand is the fact that g99 does almost everything warlock does,but still yet g99 is always swept under the rug.
They both have armor,degen,heal block,high sustainability,power control(g99's is even better),regen(which g99 does way better) and both are good at defence
The only thing I think warlock has going that G99 don't have is his armor breaks,bleed,shock, and a little bit of AAR that goes unnoticed and I think G99 makes up for this with her insane damage,her miss,not having to crit,her ability to remove her armor(for nodes that punish buffs) and her power reversal.
So am throwing it to the community who do you think is better (I know y'all are going to choose warlock), and I would like a sweet reason for your answers. By the way you guys should go easy with the disagrees,lol

I kinda get you,but activating assault function after capturing a soul should help with that in the sense that you can put opponent's power in check without having to bait Special attacks that might cost you and you don't have to use sp1 anymore making your only goal getting to sp3,and try to mix in heavies with your rotation, to help get to sp3 faster and to gain those combo shields

I feel like she can do about 90% of the content he can clear,and to be sincere there are something's warlock might struggle with that she can do comfortably, e.g spiked armor,rage,buffet

I don't have Warlock so my love is all for Guillotine 2099... but it's not that coz I don't have an option...Guill 2099 is actually a really Great champ..has great power control... one of the best regen... and great damage output... I recently started using her in AQ Map 6 and she is insane for AQ ..just keep the 2 persistent charges and you can keep regening for the entire map and finishing with a special 3 is not that difficult. People will still vote for Warlock but if warlock is 2nd best tech champ she is definitely 3rd best and only by a slight difference.

I like both and think warlock is more versatile but people really sleep on guillotines uses.

Her ramp up ceiling is so high she easily ignores damage reduction nodes. Clears 6.2 sinister without fury, 6.3 Can't stop won't stop without unstoppable, acid wash mysterio etc.
All or nothing counter with power burn on medium or sp1.
Never crits unless you want her to so ignores terminal velocity, spiked armour and flow in war
Can remove her armour for spite matchups
Energy damage bypasses safeguard
Armour and 45% regen makes her tanky
Combo shield, 10% damage cap and miss for if you slip up.
Her heal reversal is good but most of the time you'll outdamage the healing regardless.
Her downside is matchups where you can't end with a sp3 but they don't come up often

Personally, G2099 brings not much to the table. I usually do uc fights. Ramp-up? Zero. Unless I want access to her other abilities, I need to save power for the SP3 (ergo, no SP1 or SP2).

Warlock is not as punishing. His regen block is superb. He's the better Havok counter.

Maybe I will max out my 4*, but I need more convincing.

She did LOL Itemless to maestro for me. I can't see warlock doing that. G2099 once ramped up has one of the highest damage output in the game. She is not meant for act 5 or uncollected event quest, the health pools are too small for her.
She did great in act 6 completion for me saved me alot of portions and am sure she will so great in the upcoming cavalier event quest. Warlock is great champ but I think g2099 is slightly better for me.

I think both champs are amazing champs, however I prefer Warlock. He has a reliable heal-block, immunity to coldsnap and frostbite in addition to normal robot immunities an armor up makes him a Havok counter and the swift heavy makes him an evade counter too though not the best one. He has ability accuracy reduction as well as a decent regen on sp3. He has enough utility to make up for his damage which is also not the worst but not the best either. Guilly 2099 is a beast but she doesn't have that much utility and I personally hate the fact that she needs sp3.

It is. And it’s what I think. You are allowed to think differently. I personally am not a fan of her, and prefer Warlock. If you think she’s better, than that’s your opinion.

Guilly99 has higher potential damage but it's certainly harder to reach. For very long fights, perhaps she can be an even better answer than Warlock.

Warlock needs no build up. He can enter shorter fights, choose one or two of his tricks, before you know it the fight is over and he throws a goofy face. Much more fun to use and overly satisfying (for me).

I have Warlock R5 and Guilly99 at R4, debating maxing her out at some point.

Warlock has the insane heal block, insane power control, shock, regen, armour break, bleed and loads more utility. He also has the main factor of triple immunities, this is a major reason that he is considered beyond god tier. Pair him up with a robot if you think he lacks damage, he hits like a truck when he faces opponents that place debuffs he is immune to, like bleed.

I have an r2 Guilly and r5 Warlock. I never use Gully and use Warlock all the time. She's not worth the effort IMO and he's got way more utility.

No. Can he do labyrinth or farm you potions in RoL? No. Can he do spiked armor, and the other crappy nodes that punish you for critting? No. Can he fight a lot of cosmics like venom effectively? No. Can he control power with his basic attacks without needing to throw specials or block non-contact attacks (a super niche ability, by the way)? No, he can't. How does he fare against a high attack Havok on, say, crumbling armor, enhanced power gain and extinction protocol? Guilly does it WAY better.
I get that warlock has almost all the utility abilities you can think of, but outside of heal countering, they're just so niche.

When it comes to Regen, he only has it on his SP 3, gaining about 5% per infection. Guess what? Guilly can Regen 40% of her health just by entering the fight below 15% health. Just put on a 20% revive, a few blocked hits, Regen to 55%, put on your stability function for the subsequent fights, and just like that, you're golden!

It's all preferences at the end of the day, and I believe people place warlock a bit too highly.
I've used both characters extensively, and I have to say, I'm not overly impressed by warlock. But Guilly has surprised me to the point of singlehandedly doing so much content I never even dreamed of doing within a matter of a week!

Nevertheless, these 2 champs are OP, and have a lot of similar abilities. But outside of heal countering (which guilly can easily outdamage), she does everything else better than Warlock (whose abilities are way too niche for my liking).

To be sincere when it comes to G99 vs Warlock I think people are just being biased, I don't see a reason to like warlock over g99,and trust me I have both of them, She does everything with ease, in AQ she can do all the fight with ease without needing any other teammate if you pass the right path, warlock can never do that.
I think the reason people dont give her credit is the fact that they always want to keep the combo meter and we all know how easy it is to lose combo meters or how it won't work in short fights,without her combo meter up,she is still a beast,she still has a crazy load of utility and her damage is still very much OK.
With the combo meter up, she has one of the best if not the best damage in the whole game.

Am sure with time people will understand all that I am saying and give her due credit

You are very right, Holros. And as a matter of fact, G2099 is actually one of the easiest champs to keep a combo with, as she's one of the only ones till this date to be able to do backdraft intercepts from a blocked hit (albeit, this takes a lot of practice to master). She also has a massive reach on her light attacks, so she is very easy to get openings with. Her specials also have short reaction times, so if you mistakenly threw one into your opponent's block, you can quickly retaliate. Not to mention the digicloak, sig ability combo shield, heavy attack combo shield, self repair if you screw up and medium attack lifesteal to cover your health needs.

Such a well-rounded character that is severely underrated. People don't know, they just don't know...

Besides, 100 hits isn't the hardest thing to reach in the world, especially considering the fact she has 9 hits on her SP 2, yet people still complain endlessly that her build up is "tedious", smh.

Having both, I think warlock is the better one. He’s more versatile in endgame content and his damage is still really good. Not the ceiling that g2099 has but it’s good enough to count as solid damage. G2099 has utility, but not to warlock’s extent, but still good enough to count as solid utility.
