Alliance boss rush
Empty straight map.
5 fights. 5 bosses. Who are they? Well. That’s up to you.
Like AW but in a boss rush format. 3 BGS of 10 players each.
Day 1
The first 5 to join the BG place defenders. 1 defender each. They can place them in whichever order they like. No 2 defenders can be the same champion (you can’t go placing 5 Dominos) the Grandmaster wants this to be a game of thought, not a game of placing all of one defender and praying for the best.
Day 2
The nodes are released. Each fight will have a selection of 10 different nodes. The players can pick 2 unique nodes. (Attack + health not included, these nodes would buff defenders up about the same health/attack as an AW miniboss)
These nodes are the same for every tile across all alliances. The nodes should make sure to appeal to a wide range of defenders. I mean they could even add nodes from AW into the mix.
However some nodes won’t show up. Nodes like No Retreat. The Grandmaster finds these nodes unamusing. He wants the summoner to be able to fight. Not simply die without contest.
Day 3
Let the fighting begin. All 10 members join and get 3 champions to use. Item use is not allowed apart from boosts.
The Grandmaster wants this a game of skill and patience. Not units. He will also see that any cheaters be suitably punished.
Day 4
The quest is locked. If you beat it and got to the end then you get Rewards set 1. If you failed you get Rewards set 2. If you beat it and your opponents failed you get rewards set 3.
Rewards are tied to progression of each individual player.
Rewards set 1 - CONGRATULATIONS you succeeded, the Grandmaster rewards you to aid further your collection
Proven/below: 1 Ultimate Crystal
Conquerer: 2.5k 5* Shards
UC: 5k 5* shards
Cavalier: 10k 5* shards
Rewards set 2 - Bad luck! The Grandmaster notes your failure and is not too pleased. However he is fair, and sees this as a chance to improve your roster.
Proven/below: 2T3CC crystals, 5T3B
Conquerer: 20x T4CC fragment crystals, 1T4B
UC: 1T4CC crystal, 2T4B
Cavalier: 2T4CC crystals, 1/8th of a T5B
Rewards set 3 - THE HIGHEST CONGRATULATIONS you have well and truly defeated your opponent. The Grandmaster is most pleased and grants you extra rewards.
Proven/below: Ultimate crystal + 1 3* hero crystal
Conquerer: 2.5k 5* shards + 4* crystal
UC: 5k 5* shards + legendary crystal
Cavalier: 10k 5* shards + 1k 6* shards.
Day 5
Rest summoner. For tomorrow the cycle will repeat. Best of luck!
Matchmaking
The fairest matchmaking system is basing it of the closest alliance prestige matchups. That means prestige gets another use and alliances match with alliances of similar ranked champions. It’s difficult to ‘tank’ prestige and even then prestige is still needed for AQ so there’s not much risk of alliances lowering prestige on purpose. It also means that an ally with 5/65 champions can’t match with an ally of 5/50 4*s. In this mode it’s based on skill and brains. Picking the best and most strategic nodes for the fight at hand. Otherwise mismatches turn it into a game of luck.
