Unable to claim items from my overflow

I have items in my overflow I'm trying to claim (energy refills, boosts, and potions)... but the 'Claim Max' button is not working.
I can push it and it is no longer highlighted (like the application is thinking and trying to run)... but nothing happens.
I have items expiring and need these items to continue quests... is there a resolution to this issue?!?
