Appreciation - This is the most fun the game has been in 2 years

I've been a bit playing a bit obsessively since I started in 2018.
I quickly got up to 4* and got lucky with an early Corvus (and got a Domino from the intermediate Arena) - so life was easy for a while.
Then once I hit 5* luck got lucky with a quake and a ghost early on, and so content has either been super hard and a drag (LoL, Act 6), or things like uncollected EQ were too easy and just a face-roll.
Since this month's updates though - Cavaleir difficulty is FUN. No facerolling, but I actually have to think and come up with different answers. My power-champs are still huge rewards, but no one champ answers all. It kind of feels to me like Diablo 3 vs. Diablo 2. In Diablo 2 you either had Garbage or Beyond-God tier stuff. Instead, in Diablo 3 you could be rewarded all the time and compose different power-sets for different scenarios and playstyles - this feels like where MCOC is heading now and I much prefer it.
Omega Boss Rush? NICELY hard - one needs to plan - but it feels rewarding. You have to plot your team - your power champs and different answers all benefit you - and you have to decide between conserving units/revives spent and trying again - I've had to become a better player.
Incursions? Also fun and the rewards are okay (But here I think they're about to bump these up to a new level next week).
Rewards in general are feeling good. Honestly, the only unimproved soul-suck is arena grinding.
This is the most fun I've had with the game CONTENT (barring exciting Christmas present days and days where you get lucky) since I started the game - so - taking the time to appreciate it and say well done Kabam!
