Which five star champion should I focus on and eventually make rank 5?

I'm a old player returning, and I know I have a few good 5 star champions however I don't know which one I should prioritize. Please help. Unless otherwise noted they are unduped, however I still have the awakening gems from the side quest to get so tell me if the awakened ability would make a huge difference.

    I am not looking for prestige by the way. Mainly want characters to get through Variants, Act 5/6, and LOL

    It depends on what content your upto finish, if you can say that it would help people suggest you ideas. Nevertheless, if you want op guys, Colossus, Hyperion, and longshot would be my suggestion for being more consistent in damage output.

    Colossus with synergys is a solid lol option
