Update every time i open app

Why does the game have to update/reload game every time im off game for more than 10 minutes? Anybody else having this problem?

When device switches away from game (changing over to Chat App, Forum here, or etc) means game is no longer connecting with “ping” packets back-n-forth with server (or whatever they refer to it as). And so could become out of sync between your device and server (think AQ/AW, etc).

So if switched away for longer than a brief while, it will want to restart the game.

I wish it was just restart but is not, its downloading a 1 gb update like im dl game for first time or a monthly update, 3/4x a day.

if you're game is saved via Playstore or Apple store profile or kabam account (all remotely saved and will sync up again), I'd fully delete the app, reinstall and see if it clears up. Make sure you are logged in to the game with one of those though!!!! If all your progress is only saved locally, that could be a disaster.
