Where is the promised arena update?

During the dev dairy on 7/3, it said that there will be an update with the arena within 90 days. Since this month event is 35 days, I would expect the arena will be update the latest this month. However, there isn't any announcement about it. There isn't any technological update for the change. I don't see any reason the delay about it.

    They mentioned three changes targeted for 90 days from the dev diary: expanding the rank rewards for featured champs, adding 3* featured champs as milestones, and modifying the arena AI to be more consistent and more aggressive with specials. At least one of those requires at least some design and implementation time, and the devs stated elsewhere in other contexts that they are more likely to release these kinds of modifications together rather than piecemeal.

    Between now and October 1st. 90 days from July 3rd is October 1st. You can officially begin to complain after that date.

    if Kabam added the famous 2* arena where you could farm 10k 5* shards, this would buy them alot of time and keep many summoners happy.

    I don't really agree on this. As far as AI, as long as they use the regular AI for all the matches, there wouldn't be any issue. The problem is that they have very passive AI in earlier matchup. Just eliminate it will just solve the problem. Adding 3* champ in milestone is not much an issue, since they already did it before in deadpool arena for example. Expanding the featured champ number is easy too as they did them for the end of the year arena.

    Do you not see the million bugs in game already? I just want kabam to fix this white box situation, stop rushing content, slow down and make the game better.

    I’m anticipating also. Arena has always sucked. The business model was force you to rank up **** champs just to keep you from getting death matches. It’s frustrating because you need lots of resources to rank up champs and it took me 2 years of grinding to have enough champs to keep an infinite streak. 2 very frustrating years. Arena is about points in the end of the day, so putting 200 hits in one death match is not worth the points , so I quit and stat over, so frustrating.
