Leaderboard situation / missing names - still no answer Kabam?

As anyone can clearly see in the game, the leaderboards currently do not show a lot of "high profile" names. The leaderboard functionality seems to work to some extent (as in, it contains a lot of names and the names are sorted according to the respective criteria) but a lot of players are missing from it. If you check the global leaderboard for total base hero rating for example, the top spot has 3'147'251 and you can very easily find (very well-known) players above that.

Why are those names not shown in the leaderboard any more? Can we get an official answer Kabam?

The current "best guess" I have seen in the community is that it may be related to the summoner showdown which does not allow players who are not "in good standing" (a polite way of saying no cheaters allowed) and that this policy somehow applied to the other leaderboards as well.

Is this true Kabam? Is this the real reason why players are missing from the leaderboard? And if so, why don't you make this known? As a community don't we have the right to know which among us not playing fairly? Such people should be labelled in a much more visible way in my opinion. We have the right to know who the players we look up to are don't we?

I do use the Leaderboard to benchmark my progression in the game relative to the players. So putting it mildly, the current situation does feel irritating.

Conspiracy theory aside - For all we know, there is a simple bug in updating the Leaderboard, and if so, no reason to just acknowledge said bug and simply fix it.

The silence just fuels more posts like this.
