Yet Another 4* Generic Awakening Gem Question

I'm now Level 54 doing monthly quests, arenas, and working towards Act 5 completion. My 4* roster is mostly awakened by now, but I have a few worthy champs on which to use a generic gem. Ægon, BW Claire, Darkhawk, Ghost Rider, Longshot, Magneto, Medusa, Namor, or Proxima in alphabetical order...any thoughts?

    ægon/namor if u can get them very high or max sig. proxima, gr, and longshot aren’t worth a generic, BW chests death, medusa gains fury buffs and autoblock, and darkhawk benefits too. so i would argue aegon and namor if high sig capable, medusa, and BW. but there are probably better options if u feel like saving

    I'd probably go aegon. even in things like eq, he's very useful.

    Magneto namor or aegon sure, but besides that the other champs you listed aren't generic worthy or don't even really need an ag like BWCV.

    It really depends. Do you like maintaining combos? Do you like playing aggressively (Namor) do you like the parry/ heavy style Magneto uses. Each is an amazing champ but all three have different play styles and strengths. Not to leave out Longshot who is also tremendous. If I had to pick a champ I find the most fun I'd pick Magneto or Longshot but they don't really need to be awakened to be great. However if you are going to max them and use them all the time there could be an argument made to use the AG on who you will play the most. Ultimately I think AEgon might be the best use of resources toward Act 5 completion but I would make sure you like his play style before doing it.

    I think medusa will be the best option for you.Most of the champs here don't need the awakening. I don't think you should awaken aegon/namor/darkhawk if you can't max sig them

    Aegon or namor, as long as you focus on getting whoever to max sig level. If you like the new Mag buff, and enjoy playing him then no harm there either.

    Claire doesn't need it, you hardly ever use her sp3 when you can just regen with sp2

    Medusa dupe is mainly for defense, but not necessary for attack

    I am definitely looking at maxing out whoever I awaken...I have a 3* Ægon awakened at fairly high sig level but I'm not overly impressed with him at that rank. I thought he might be better at 4* awakened. I also have him as a 5* but I don't have an awakening gem for him. I also have Starky that I can awaken but I didn't include him because I don't typically use him much right now. I tend to make decisions about who I play based on who gives me the toughest fights. Guilly is one of my absolute favorites (and I have her 4* awakened) but she isn't highly sought after.
