Level prestige am I doing it wrong?

I'm level 56 with just over 4000 prestige. Some said that means I'm doing it wrong without explaining. Can anyone help please?

I don't know why people care about prestige so much. If you have 5/50 champs to place for defence and play aq with them and bring in aw then you are doing completely fine

You don’t need to care about prestige yet. Just play the game and once you get high enough, you will pretty much know.

Prestige is only important in points multipliers for AQ. High tier alliances have prestige requirements because that is how you place as high as everyone else. Of course, if you have to chose between two equally good characters, and one has significantly better prestige, go for the high prestige one.

But literally don’t even worry about it. The metric is only significant for more advanced players. Just you do you, and by the time you are trying to find a solid alliance, you will probably have good prestige already.
