Ka-Ban

So I wanted to put forward my views on the ban wave - previous and probably upcoming one. Just my point of view so you people may agree or disagree.

We play the game for fun and many of us spend dollars to get things quickly due to impatience. So we are buying a service. Now in the service industry, if the company makes a mistake and gives unplanned extra benefits, they do not go and stop the consumers from buying their goods. They rectify their mistakes so that they do not suffer losses.

Then why should Kabam ban people for a mistake they are committing. Last time there was this huge issue and people would have thought that Kabam would learn from it. But again same problems get repeated. It’s not a mistake of the player community that their employees are unable to do their job properly. So if you are banning people, better fire your designers also for making the same mistake again and again.

As for the community, they are paying big bucks many a times. So if they see a loophole they use it to earn some extra resources. Not Honorable but not Illegal too. Because they are not using third party mods or websites to get these benefits. They are playing properly - time and energy costs to earn those resources.

So Kabam wake up!!!

(P.S.- I didn’t take advantage of their mistakes last time but felt bad for some players who were really active and got banned)

A ban might be a bit too harsh in this case when we don't even know what the monster and hero crystals are worth but those who did it again after getting banned last month fully deserve one.

Actually it is "illegal", within the game itself. It's a violation of TOS to exploit the game. As for whether or not they will take action, I have no idea. One person claimed someone was banned, but that may have not been connected since I haven't seen any other evidence. In any event, I wouldn't argue with actions against any egregious cases. People know when they're doing something wrong, and there's always an assumption, or a risk taken, that they will get away with it because it's the fault of the game.

It’s ludicrous to be honest. They could just take back the items from the bug.
You would think half the things mobile gaming companies get away should be considered unethical at least. Many are just carnies with programming skills.
