Where are the monster hunter shards?

I’d love to know how many special shards I have. I keep getting more shards and it still says I can’t buy a crystal. Am I missing a place they are gathered?

Look at any unclaimed Special Objective and click on the icon for Monster Shards reward.
Or click on Rewards screen for a Limbo quest then click on icon for Monster Shards reward.

This will show you how many Shards you currently have. (agreed, annoying that they are not listed in Inventory, personal Treasury, or Crystals screens).
