Be grateful

"If only I had a Ghost, Quake, Dr. Doom or (fill in the blank)... then I'd have fun in this game." People have a tendency to ride all their emotions on crystal pulls with this game.
I would argue that we need to stop comparing up and start being grateful for the account we do have. Unless you are a blubbery whale who constantly spends to open cavs and featured crystals to get the best of the best champs or you grind arena like your life depended on it then you will have an account that is imperfect. You will always be lacking in certain areas and guess what? It's ok.
My guess is that there are lots and lots of people would love to have your account. Reflect on how far you have come with your progression. Also remember the good crystal pulls you did get and now maybe they don't give you as much satisfaction. So remember that the highs of crystal pulls really don't last as long as you might expect.
I remember when I wanted a 5* Blade so bad for the longest time and... never got him. I never got him until just a couple weeks ago and I haven't even started ranking him. The fact remains there will always be better champs down the line.. other champs who can do the role of the biggest and most OP champ that is currently available. Pretty sure at the time nobody thought Blade with the full trinity synergy would ever be considered a bit outdated and out of the "meta."
Be grateful for the entertainment value this game has given you over the months or years.
Be grateful for the alliance(s) you have been a part of.
Be grateful for the freebies (summoner appreciation, compensation, etc.)
Be grateful for the escape from reality that this game offers. (especially during a pandemic)
Be grateful for the lows... the Groot pulls... the Iron Patriot for the 5th time... it will make the highs that much more sweet!
Be grateful for a game that evolves, changes, and brings new quests, champs, and rewards... old school games could never do this.
Be grateful.
