I don't know how you consider champions to be "beyond god tier" but Warlock is definitely still up there. At least for me. He's got tons of utility, he's great for all variants except 5, great in act 6 and good for general questing. Still a solid champion, 2nd in his class only to Ghost (I know some might say G2099 is better and it's very debatable, she's a contender for that spot as well).

Variants for me are done and I don’t do AQ or AW, working on act 6.

His damage pales in comparison to G2099, but it's really not that bad. The special 2 armor breaks and heavy attack bleeds are where most of the damage comes from. Mine hits quite hard actually, granted I'm running suicides but even before I put them on I didn't mind the damage at all considering the amount of utility he's packing.

Nobody can shut down healing as well as warlock. Nobody is immune to it either and it’s passive. I used him to easily beat sinister in 6.2.

idk man I've got 20k heavies pretty easily. the sp2 armor break is nuts, especially if you get the damage from all four. you can also parry heavy which not only is a different style that can be useful for some fights/nodes, but also more damage. his power control is insane, especially if you save an sp3 for when you're in a tough situation. his armor makes him incredibly survivable and special attacks cannot crit if you screw up on a special dex on a chonky defender. power drain or projectile hits is niche but useful for havok. and his infections with the best heal block and some nice aar

Warlock does a lot of things well, regen isn't one of them. You sacrifice your sp2 damage for just over 1k health per infection.

Unless you get deleted by a special don't see the problem in having a 40% regen when you hit 15%.

Having to end a fight with a sp3 might be an annoyance to you but I find it barely an inconvenience. Healthpools have gotten so inflated it doesn't take much thought.

G2099's power burn is only on her special 1, which is much easier to do especially since some nodes doesn't allow you to reach a special 3. g2099's regen is way better than warlocks. his regen is barely 3 percent per infection where as g2099's is over 40.

Warlock does not have better power power control; I haven't seen anyone comfortably take on an all or nothing fight that is not a regener with him.

His Regen is nowhere close to Guilly's. In fact, for saying that absolute nonsense, you are proving to be dumb. I don't see Warlock healing on his mediums with absolute ease, neither have I seen him shoot back up to 55% health almost instantly. You call a mediocre Regen of about 5% health per infection, that is only on his SP 3 good? You are tripping.

As for heal countering, I agree that warlock beats Guilly in that regard; but I don't think I've seen a healing scenario that I can't overpower with Guilly. Have you ever heard of variant 3 Kang? RoL wolverine? LoL X-23? Those 3 easily have the most ridiculous Regen potentials in the game. Guilly soloes them without stress.

And please, how is Warlock better with suicides? Please enlighten me. Because I've not seen warlock covering recoil damage just by throwing his mediums. I haven't seen him dip below 15% health due to recoil damage, and instantly shoot up to 50%+.

It's apparent you haven't even played with Guilly. You might not like her, but don't say s**t about her, or you're inviting my attention.

Honestly I feel he's slightly overrated only because players remember his reputation pre fix, largely just because he was super beyond god tier and no ones really questioned it since. Can't say I'm a fan of my 6*, but I rarely feel the need or urge to even use him. His synergies are underrated though.
