It has been a very long time now since doom became the aq boss, and the game has progressed a lot since then, going from only a tiny portion of players with rank 3 6 stars to a huge amount having them, and other resources such as t2a and t5b have became far more common. Currently the biggest aq rewards come from the modifiers rather than the rank/milestone rewards (at the top at least) and the glory store has lost value due to the commonality of the resources in there, and to be honest the map itself just feels a bit stale
With the recent release of apocalypse, he seems like a perfect fit as an aq boss, and with the release of cav eq and sq I feel like it’s time aq also gets something new
