Havok, civil warrior interaction

So I was fighting civil warrior in 5.4.2 with masochism and 10% stun chance with havok and some weird interaction happened. I think it could have been because of civil warriors damage reduction but I didn’t know it was this much. My special attacks were doing literally nothing. It took 218 hits to get him down 50%. What’s happening?
