Incursion invite timeout

After trying to accept an incursion invite from a friend, it said the invite had expired but stayed in the chat panel, I sent an invite to my friend instead, and the response was the same. So we both declined the invite to clear it from chat, and in doing so now there is just an X whenever we try to invite each other. I’m sure this is some sort of response to avoid spam invitations, but now we are locked out completely from playing with each other due to this bug. How long does this x last?
