5* R5 : Red Magneto or Omega Red for Act 6?

Hi y'all,

A month or so ago I did a poll on who R5 and eventually went for Human Torch, but Red Mags was a close second. I wouldn't be doing this poll if I wouldn't have pulled OR since then, and now I am REALLY torn.

A bit of context:
- Finished Act 5 but it is yet unexplored, will explore after getting Cavalier.
- My main concern is to get Cávalier Status (havent touched Act 6 yet) and maybe so some Variants. Maybe after that do LoL and Abyss, probably. AW/AQ are of little to no concern to me.
- I am soon to get HALF SUICIDES (Double Edge + Cuagulate, sans liquid courage). The fact that both Red Mags and OR became among my most go to champs played a BIG role in this decision. They both benefit greatly from double edge, but I am not willing to take the poison hit Liquid courage would have on my other top champs such as Mags and Human Torch.
- My other go-to top champs are : 6* R2 CMM, 5* R5 HT (duped x60)

So who should I take ro Rank 5?

Wait for Nick Fury, Aegon, Warlock, Ghost ( have Wasp and Hood for synergy) or Corvus (have Proxima for synergy). Awakening gems and some sig stones stashed for using on any of these.

    Mags, and you won't need any synergies.
    He can also work amazing with and without the suicide masteries.
    He'll help you against some of the hardest and most annoying bosses in act 6 (for example pre nerf, he just wrecked the imiw and darkhawk in one sp3)
    He helped me a ton in my act 6 completion run (in which I did 6.3 and 6.4 completion),and now he's helping me in the exploration

    I’m not sure how critical magneto is in 6.1 as I was already finished with that by the time of the buff but he’s probably one of the best options for the 5th slot in any team right now. If the opponent is metal he’s pretty much the best option, full stop.
    OR suffers a little bit the deeper you go in the same way CG does. He’s a great champ no doubt about it but he’s not really my cup of tea. If I gotta throw specials I’ll use someone who’s specials are a bit juicier.

    I'd definitely R5 them both, but go OR first. With double edge, he'll absolutely destroy every path fight in 6.1 and he's great for Crossbones, the main problem boss of 6.1. Mags wouldn't be a path clearer and he actually wouldn't be too amazing for the metal bosses. He'd be okay against Ultron, but you can't play your standard parry, heavy playstyle since the crazy amount of prowess you gain will make sure EMP mod wrecks you, even with the shock resistance. Same goes for Sentinel since he's stun immune, and Crossbones has the poison node on him.

    The reason is very simple. I have made the math, read countless posts, saw plenty of YouTube videos etc and this is what I have determined:

    Double edge does not last for the entire fight. Plus if paired with cuagulate+willpower+recovery, it not only mitigantes greatly the health hit, but in case of Red Mags And OR heals them with surplus net gain health because of their passive 90% bleed mitigation. Moreover, in the case of OR it has further benefit because it pops his death field right from the start.

    If I add Liquid Courage, sure my OR and my 6* CMM will benefit greatly from it, but besides having to use 3 mastery points from other really important masteries, the poison last for the entire fight for ALL MY OTHER NON POISON IMMUNE high level champs. There is nothing like cuagulate to mitigate it, and recovery + willpower would only mitigate some of the health loss, not all, you will always have net negative health gain.

    The above doesn't matter for Arena. Does t matter for some content in the game. Bit it does matter to me a lot FOR LONG, HARD (TO ME) CONTENT ( such as Act 6) BECAUSE I AM BASICALLY A FREE TO PLAY GAMER. I don't spend much money, if any at all on the game (don't have the means to) and plus that I am not the best player there is. As it is now I already have to use more units than more other players would do with my roster in time in the game. And I am fine with that, I dont mind sucking
    at this game. What I do mind is adding a mastery that could potentially make me have to spend even more units on revives or health pots when doing a hard quest. The health hit that my R5 5* HT and R2 6*CMM will tale from DE is the most that I am willing to take.

    mags is finally worthy of his name.

    My son has a 5r4 and has finished act6, mags ruins the hopes and dreams of metal and bleed immunes and its absurdly easy to knock over very difficult opponents.

    And because I'm a jerk, he is free to play and because he is a jerk he won't use a revive unless its the boss and he earns every one of them.
