What should my next step in content be?

I just recently became cavalier. With my roster, should I wait for better champs, tackle a variant, do more of act 6? Or stick to eq. If you have any other suggestions that would be great. Also any champion suggestions for rank up or to use for a variant would be appreciated.

I'd try variant 4 and level up sorcerer and venom and try v5

I agree with @Thicco_Mode . You could also see if you can build the synergy team for Thing ans cheese a completion run of Variant 2. He is insane for completion, stash up some free revives, 20% is all he needs if you mess up.
