Kicked out of gamma quest

I finished a fight vs warlock and it just brought me to the fight options screen, booted me out of the quest and ate up one of my entries. Anybody else have this issue?

You have only 30 minutes and you must have been timed out so you returned back. However you will still have the gamma in your inventory.

Same thing just happened to me. I wasn't outta time. I was tapping the after fight screen repeatedly to try to get back to the map and I was suddenly on the home screen. I wasn't tapping anywhere near the quit fight button. Wouldn't let me back in.
