Expiring items/inventory storage

Ive always wondered why items even expire? I understand it encourages ppl to be active and keep progressing but then i guess would then follow up with the next question of then why is inventory capabilities so low?

The simple answer is to make the average player spend more money.

A long time ago there were no limits on items. Putting a limit on items is on my long list of awful decisions made in this game. To be fair, there have been many great changes as well, but the item cap still burns me up.

Ive only been playin for 7 months or so an been wondering. Sucks i missed on no limit but thanks for the response

That it was. It was good, you could keep 100 potions or revives in your stash...
