I'm confused about my prestiege. is it just not updated?

I know I'm not at a level where I need to worry about prestige but I'm confused. I dont have a single top 5 champion below 6k pi but my prestige is around 5.5k? Could someone explain how prestige works to me please

pi is different than prestige. Prestige is a set number that all champs will have that increases with rank and sig ability. PI however, is affected by mastery setups so having such things as suicide masteries will increase the pi of a champ very high. So while you may not have a champ that is under 6k pi, that's because of your masteries which prestige is unaffected by.
