How can he poison himself and take no damage but other champs can poison him and he does

Because his poisons do no damage but opponent's poisons do damage.

Just curious cause original one is poison immune. And I thought he should be too

I thought he had 100% resistance to poison. Is this if a nose increases damage by more than 100%? I get why his design means he can't be immune but they should have given him like 150% resistance to where he heals from poison slightly like Gambits flack jacket
