I just want to ask one question. If one character gets picked, does this mean that all the other characters will never be available in this game?
No, they can still come in the game, just not in 2021. However, Hercules is more likely to come if he doesn’t get picked than Omega Sentinel.
Says who?
Hercules is an iconic marvel character.
Same argument can be said for a litany of characters. In the grand scheme of things he really isn't that iconic in Marvel. Chances are if u do know who he is it's not because he's that guy who fought with Thor instead it's because of ancient Greek mythology you learnt about in school.
Character Notoriety Compared to characters like Spider Man, Captain America, Hulk, Storm, and Black Widow both Hercules and Omega Sentinel could be considered less prominent Marvel Characters. Omega Sentinel has a very interesting back story, and has had several adventures with the X-Men, but even though he may not be the first Marvel character to cross your mind, Hercules has had a far more impressive role in the Marvel Universe than his competition. Hercules has been a proud member of the Avengers and fought some of their greatest foes including Baron Zemo, the Absorbing man, and Goliath. He's spent some time with the Heroes for Hire, and served as a stand in for Hulk on one occasion. None of this even factors in how popular the "Hercules" character is outside of the Marvel Universe. The Son of Zeus has been a pop culture icon and has appeared in television series, movies, books, and more. WINNER - Hercules
Potential Character Design MCOC has done a very good job in the character design department lately. The graphics department has done some fantastic things with characters like Venom the Duck, Punisher 2099, Air Walker, Dragon Man, Man Thing, and the list goes on. I think that Marvel's version of Hercules would look great. He'd be a character with that classic, bearded, Greek warrior feel. The problem is that we already have some great bearded male warriors (Red Guardian, Reed Richards, Cap IW, and Thor Rag). Thor Rag also seems to be a character who would seem very similar to Hercules. Unless they went in a different direction than what is in the comics, I think both would be indistinguishable from one another (though this could lead to some interesting synergies - more on that later). Omega Sentinel on the other hand has potential for a very unique character design. It's true that Nebula fills a role as a female cyborg, however pictures of O. Sentinel show that she has a look unlike anyone else in the game. Add the fact that she also has shape shifting capabilities, we could see the potential for one of the most unique characters to come along in a while. This goes for both her look and potential fighting style. WINNER - Omega Sentinel
Benefit to Class At the time of this post, there are 36 Cosmic champs and only 29 Tech (both classes have a "trophy champ" in the form of Thanos and Ultron Classic respectively). Within the last 2 years, there have been 10 cosmic champs added to the game, and only 4 champs added to the tech class. Out of the 2 classes presented, the Tech class has the greater need for additional champs. WINNER - Omega Sentinel
Synergy Potential While both champs could have a solid collection of synergies that could potentially benefit already existing champs, Omega Sentinel's interactions in the comics seem to be primarily limited to those in the X-Men's circle of associations, and possibly with some of the other robots in game. Hercules on the other hand has such a wide variety of allies and connections, there is greater potential for synergies for a much wider variety of champs already in game, specifically those who are older and could greatly benefit from "synergy buffs" (Thor Ragnarock, Hulk (Classic), She-Hulk, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, or any of the other "classic" Avengers) WINNER - Hercules
Overall Potential Usefulness and Playstyle Hercules was stated to be a ramp up, skilled based champion. We can only guess what this means exactly, but unless they make him really, really good I personally could do without that particular playstyle. When I think of these types of mechanics I think of more complicated characters like Proxima Midnight, Doctor Octopus, Ghost Rider, and Ronin. The extra skill involved in using them can in some cases make them more "fun" to play, but often times this becomes more of a hindrance in more difficult content. Omega Sentinel's use of nano-tech could potentially make her challenging to use as well, but there was mention of regen in her kit, and Setin's video seemed to indicate she'll have a multi-weapon mechanic, which made me think of Winder Soldier's dash back and hold. (though this is purely speculation on my part). I would much rather a character who could be very effective the first fight out (and in arenas) opposed to a champ which would take some time to get there. WINNER - Omega Sentinel
Suicide Mastery Compatibility - Omega Sentinel is a robot\cyborg and should theoretically be completely suicide friendly. There is always the chance that Herc could be poison immune due to his particular biology, and I think it would be cool if he had some kind of bleed immunity connected to his awakened ability or passive, but all in all this would still pale in comparison to being completely bleed and poison immune. WINNER - Omega Sentinel
Based on my personal criteria Omega Sentinel wins 4 categories, while Hercules wins 2. The importance of each category could always vary depending on the individual, and there may be several categories or points which I've not considered, but all in all I do hope we see Omega Sentinel win the vote. I am glad that all characters will eventually be added and Hercules is a great addition to the game, but I think that he is a champ (especially as a Cosmic) that can be added later rather than sooner.

Great books, awful movies. Hopefully the Disney + adaptation will be better
I really think that Omega sentinel is going to be TECH TORCH of the game. The way torch shreds mystic champs, omega sentinel is going to shred mutant champs. (she is a mutant killer, read it on Wikipedia).

Aannd, this discussion has taken a curve. Though I agree with you
Omega sentinel all the way. Hercules looks like a ramp up champ throughout quest. Which is agon like behaviour. Boring. Long term investment for spacific uses. Probably must awaken ability.
Omega sentinel is tech confirm regeneration plus probably some cool stuff will be there like power control or damage over time... And 1st indian character so Omega Sentinel it is. My choice.

That’s what this vote is about.
- she looks awesome
- synergy with Sentinel hopefully
- avoid Hercules vs Hyperion future threads
