If I had know what you just posted, I would have waited to pull a better mystic or to get the other tcc 5 to lvl up a better champion.
Not cool in my book and now to be honest, I dont feel like buying the offers because I feel cheated.
Kabam stated even for the July deals that reaching the next title won't guarantee you a second set of deals while they're live, it's something that's been known for a long while, and mentioned in the last couple of days.
Had you have not done the rank up, and the TB deals turned out to be amazing, then I'm sure you would blame it on Kabam on not confirming that the unintentional bug was fixed.
They honestly can't win.
The rest is up to you.
Lame jokes aside, yeah: rank up if you want guaranteed TB deals, don't rank up if you wanna risk it and potentially (although unlikely at this stage) to be locked out of higher deals during weekend. the choice is yours and yours only to make based on the limited information we have
The wording they used in this upcoming Cyber weekend post is identical to the wording they used last year, to explain that the deals would not change. They said this because in the past, the deals did actually change: we got one deal on Friday, and then that deal went away and a completely different deal was offered on Monday. Last year that changed so that the offers were fixed throughout the entire weekend. The deals do not change. Which one you see depends on what progression tier you are.
If you don't feel like buying the offers, don't. But in my opinion no one was cheated into doing anything. First of all, you and you alone are responsible for your rank up decisions. Second, it isn't even Cyber weekend yet. No one has yet been put into a position of having to make a rank up call to qualify for any particular tier of Cyber weekend offer yet. And Kabam Miike's statement was made well before the deals are scheduled to be released.
But most important of all, Kabam Miike's statement *explicitly* states that the tier shifting behavior for progression-tied offers like this is unintentional and therefore Kabam cannot and will not make any guarantees about this behavior. You and you alone have to decide whether to take the risk or not based on your own judgment. You chose to rank up, and you chose to do so well in advance of the offers. That was your choice, and you're responsible for that choice.
