Anyone else think it’s shameful to have a rank 3 6* as a requirement to be Thronebreaker? I’m right there but you have to spend a lot of money or be in top tier alliance to get a rank 3

I wasn't in a top tier alliance when I got TB nor did I spend a ton of money. I did my pass through the Abyss and formed another from crystals. the R3 requirement is much better than what others are saying it should be like 100% act and/or Abyss.

I got my first r3 without being in a top tier alliance or spending a ton of money. I did a path of Abyss and Act 6 Exploration. Neither require a lot of units, especially not Act 6 anymore

It's good it's been tailored, 100% agree, personally feeling a little salty because I've beat 6.4 but don't have a rank 3 😭🤣. Hopefully a cav Odin's or 2 will be good enough to allow that to happen 🤞

Can someone at Kabam confirm whether or not the deals will change based on your progression during the weekend.

For example, if I’m Cavalier when the deals drop but then get Thronebreaker on Saturday will the deals change to Thronebreaker as well?

I have done 100% act6 and 3 paths in abyss but still don't have any worthy champion of the classes whose t5cc I have......

Miike has stated this past July that that it was never intended for deals to change after changing progression levels both for deals and compensation. Don't count on it this time around.

That could just mean there won't be additional offers added through the period as well. It's honestly not very clear and they really should specify one way or the other beforehand being as there's a precedent set already

I've never been a fan of people being able to do that personally but it's been a thing that was possible and they've allowed for a while now.

I think its funny that message from Kabam says that the deals are based on your story progression, yet when we challenged them on the rank 3 requirement they said the title was not about story progression. Lol. Still hate the rank 3 requirement. I got my first t5cc 8 months ago now. Now have 4 of them and still no one worth a rank up. Normally I spend a lot on Black Friday. Not this year.

Well, first of all Thronebreaker is the highest progression tier that exists in the game, and its been only a couple months since it was released. Who do you expect such a progression tier to target? The highest progression players, however they got there, are in fact ranking r3s now. Everyone in the target audience for Thronebreaker either have r3s or could rank one up for the title without any difficulty.

There's nothing shameful about that. If you aren't in that target group yet, but just outside it, you'll get there eventually. T5CC is getting easier to get all the time. Cavalier players who are just getting all the free to play sources of T5CC will almost certainly have their first rank 3 sometime in 2021 if not sooner.

As to what the Thronebreaker offers will likely contain, I think it is fair to say that the Thronebreaker offers will focus on 6* champions, 6* rank up resources, and that will almost certainly include T5CC or r3 rank up materials of some kind.

I can also anticipate the complaint. Thronebreakers will be getting the very resource non-Thronebreakers need to become Thronebreaker, namely T5CC. But that's the point. Those resources should be very hard to obtain until you reach a point in the game where you've demonstrated you can earn them and put them to use, whereupon the game's reward system shifts to making it easier to get so you can make more progress. That's how progression games work.

In the in game mail it's written that if you are close to become either uncollected cavalier or thronebreaker...
I didn't understand one thing that right now I am almost close on becoming uncollected like I completed 5.1 so will I be able to get the uncollected offers as it is written close to become?
Can anyone please clarify this

@Kabam Vydious @Kabam Miike are the cyber offers going to update for players progressing during the weekend? I.E. purchase Cav offers, progress to ThroneBreaker then purchase those offers as well? Previously it has worked that way but the in game message doesn't lead one to think it will. Thank you!

This is a huge deal and seriously needs to be clarified. I'm not a fan of it either but if they weren't Thronebreaker before the offer than they have way more catching up to do before they can compete prestige wise.

I keep wondering why it’s so hard for Kabam to be clear and accurate with their announcement. Not everybody first language is English. It’s really not that hard to clearly state . If you become uc/Cav/ throne once the deals start you won’t be able to get the new ones

As long as the cavalier offers aren't worse than they were for the 4th of July offers then I'll be happy. I'm sure the Thronebreaker deals will be better than the Cavalier deals, but if the Cavalier deals have to suffer to make the Thronebreaker deals look good then that will be some BS
