Really Feel this is one of the pathetic deals for Cavalier its really a waste of time & money, I had accumulated a lot of units for such a deal & I know few fellow friends who have also accumulated units for such a deals but now all is in real vain & we all really feel negative about such deals.
This Cyber deals this year is only & only to boost Thronebreaker Segment & Not Cavalier is really forgotten.
I really feel sad for the people who had grind the arena really hard & given their precious time & effort to grind units, which is really a waste for them now.
I hope there could be Fix for this if Kabaam team really want to make a difference in the Cavalier segment, which will help them to get to Thronebreaker.
I'm not a fun of Kabam's commercial policies, I find them in most cases wrong, greedy and sometimes even mean. And rather inefficient in terms of sales strategy. In most cases they focus on a very short term profit. Most of the woes that we come across in our relationship with the game resources and progression are a direct result of clumsy profiting at some prior day. I'm not talking about the game economy -that's just rubbish and I will not take it as an argument, it's just a game.
But for the first time I'm in agreement with what they did in terms of strategy because, frankly, what the message is for me is:
MONEY ALONE WON'T HELP YOU PROGRESS IN THE GAME. Money will get you units to use to help you play the game, not skip the game.
What I mean is : You're a cavalier, you are prepared to spend 300$ to get half a CC5, but there's no way for you, hey, here's an idea, get your ass in Abyss, use the 10k units you have from buying the offers finish your first pass of Abyss and get a full one for you time, game and skill.
It's a clear message imo, and for the first time I find myself in agreement with one of Kabam's strategic choices regarding progress and offers. Keep the units and enjoy the game.
I went to bed last night thinking it would feel better today. But there is still 15k units on my account and 300 usd in the bank saved up for last night and I’m even more disappointed. And then, to top it of, I’m checking in with my alliance on line to see that half of them have advanced really well from the TB offers and I realize I most likely will soon have to quit my great alliance cause I can’t keep up. And that’s so sad.
I get the way kabaam was thinking. “Let’s give cavalier players some deals that WE think are good but TB players really great deals. That will make cavalier players spend even more because they too want to become TB.”
That analysis is 100% correct, it would have worked, but you so totally messed it up when you not sat down and thought through “what does every different base of players really need”.
And to @Kabam Miike and the rest of the mods. I’m actually really sorry for you guys. You must have a very strange organization where the people in charge of customer complaints (forum) are not allowed into discussions about deals on one of the most important shopping holidays. They just leave you to handle their mess.
Well, I'm cav and went for the 1k unit deal. Thinking back, it was a really dumb thing to do.
The only "valuable" thing I got was the 2 tier 2 alpha. The 15k shards gave me a sinister dupe from the featured, so that was a waste. I simply don't give a **** about the tier 4 CC selectors.
The 1k units could have literally been enough to nearly explore the entirety of 6.3, and get 10 times the value. As a matter of fact, I spent about half the price on variant 5 exploration and got the same amount of shards, 2 tier 5 basics, a 25% tier 5 CC crystal, a 5* awakening gem, and some more stuff. All I needed for it was a rank 5 5* sorcerer, Stealthy, Claire, and 4* Doom, Voodoo and Magik.
I could have saved up to 5k units, but was wise to instead spend the units on deep wounds.
My principle- for as long as I'm cavalier, spend units on masteries and content. Screw "special deals".
So let me see if i understand this correctly, right now we got 26 pages of very upset, angry and frustrated players around the world and all KABAM did was a weak post from @Kabam Miike saying, "thanks for your feedback, i understand why you´re upset im gonna talk to the team for future matters"??
The thing Kabam dont understands is that the MAJORITY of the players wont spend much BUT they still spend and we talk PLENTY of players. The amount of thronebreakers are still very few and still they think its valid that TB players should get 3 six star nexus crystals at the same price as 1 nexus for cav players.
They are screwing the biggest square of the playerbase and the BLACK FRIDAY revenaue will now take a serious hit and Kabam will miss out on hundred of thousand dollars, maybe millions. I was prepared to spend atleast 100 dollars but now i wont spend one dollar and i am the only player thinking like this RIGHT?
Kabam understood quickly that this was a bad call and now they are hiding instead of communicating with the players, PATHETIC!!
I did the test, I did one abyss run tonight and I changed from cav to thronebreaker and you get the new deals (for TB) when you are able and have time and the team go for it it’s a funny experience (especially iw without fury lol)

Reality - Looked at Cav deals and proceeded to put my wallet back in my pocket, Honestly, its beyond a joke. Sack the marketing department or whoever had a hand in this Abomination of a deal.
There's so much good feedback in here but I can't imagine Kabam recovering from this. Even if they do give out a free 10% T5CC selector to all Cavs, I suspect a large majority of them will no longer spend units or money on offers. Shame.
Kabam you have royally screwed Cavalier players over with these offers. If you had any decency you would alter the offers and compensate those who have bought any offers. I've been playing the game since it first came out and I am appalled at the way you have treated a large part of you fan base. Pure elitism.

A huge number of us (Cavalier players pushing for throne breaker) have no need for more random 5 or even 6 star champs. We need t5cc shards... and specific class of shards to progress. These deals are targeted at new Cavalier players by the look of things. I think that's the main issue. But fair enough, maybe Kabam marketing have come up with a plan to ignore a certain segment of players as they think they will make more money that way. But... we do have the right to provide feedback in the vain hope it may help us either long or short term.

I have 5 generic gems on my f2p account because I have awful luck with crystals and not enough sig stones to justify using the gems.
That account ended up with two Doc Ock, Red Skull, Silver Surfer as 5’s and a 6-star Loki. All four of those 5-stars were already awakened. I’ve pulled close to 40 cosmic/tech crystals and can’t get Corvus, Warlock, or Spark. That account is worse today than it was yesterday.
This is all just a thumb in the eye to the player base.
And here I am, still sitting in disbelief on a pile of unspent cash and units, waiting for a course correction. So much anticipation, such a colossal disappointment.
Man, I really walked into a warzone coming into the forums today... Kinda upset that no Cavalier unit offers gave any t5cc (or very little, I forgot what the offers were), but I only had 1k units anyways. I did have very small expectations, and they were surpassed! Just not in the direction I was thinking of... But hey, maybe Book 2 chapter 1 rewards and Variant 6 can make up for it. Hopefully.
I recently finally became uncollected. I don’t feel I am that good of a player, so I need more options to rank up. While I was somewhat happy with T2 alpha and some T5 basic in the deals, it won’t be enough for me to work towards Cav. And listening to everyone complain about the deals, I don’t have an incentive either to work towards Cav. Glory store prices are ridiculous, and my AQ team will not reach a level that will help me. So I guess I will be uncollected for awhile. And a new alliance won’t help since I would clearly be the weakest link on the team and will be booted.
