Unsportsmanlike behaviour? re. Gifting event

Hey Kabam, what counts as unsportsmanlike behaviour? I have stockpiled units for a while just for the gifting event. Am I gonna get banned/stripped of rewards just for being excessively generous to the only two (active) members of my alliance?

....asking for a friend.

I think that they are talking about people making multiple accounts and gifting themselves

They're more or less referring to the alliances that invite people only to gift to inflate their score and then boot them to invite others solely to unit dump gifts.

They called unsportsmanlike conduct. Doesn't mean that you will be banned for self gifting, but they have the right to disqualify from gifting rank rewards

They took care of that problem by saying you have to be in alliance 14 days before being able to contribute gifting points (and I assume that means no rank rewards either for those that came back in late and couldn’t contribute any points).

They could still bring in a bunch of ppl who were saving for gifting, and become a high Gifting Alliance. But replacing those ppl afterwards wouldn’t do anything towards bringing your previous people back in (those returning ppl wouldn’t be able to benefit).

Only case I could see is bringing in lot of 2nd acct dumpers, contribute the points, then swap back your normal people in time to be eligible for their usual AW Rewards.
It would bring them back for AW, but only those ppl that stayed in ally throughout would benefit from the gift-dump (not the others who were swapped out and then back in)

They should have taken it one step further (just for completeness) and say if you leave/get kicked from ally after doing some gifting, then that members points should also get deducted from the ally total.

Why would that be a violation? Geez you’re all grasping at straws here.
People buying dodgy units is the main thing they’ll be looking out for.
