    I really hope that the people who chose man thing just voted for him for the jokes.
    Man thing is nowhere near doom in terms of offensive power and it's pretty tight in defence.

    Doom is the safer choice to go as future content like act 7 will be released and new variants too.

    This is rank 3 we are talking about here.

    Kidding aside, you should probably go with Doom. I suspect he'll do more for you since you're not going anywhere.
