Gifting Event Question - Alliance Rewards

Hey folks!
So as many of y'all probably know, the war season ends 12 days prior to gifting starting. In order to qualify for alliance rewards, one must be in an alliance for 2 weeks. This creates a two day gap at the beginning of the gifting event where new alliance members cannot claim gifting rewards.
So here's my question - will those members BE eligible for the rewards the other people got to if the new members meet the minimums? Like, sometimes, milestone rewards will say "you weren't eligible for this reward" because you joined too late. Will this be the case? Or will late joiners STILL be able to claim the lower milestone rewards after the two days if they meet the minimum point threshold?

I would like to know the answer to this as well. I'm in a retirement Alliance and I was thinking about going back to my old Alliance next Season to be with old friends during the holidays and there are more active players in my old Alliance. The thing is, I would like to get my AW Season rewards from my current Alliance. The Season ends on the 8th, we'll receive the Rewards on the 9th, and then if I go back to my old Alliance I will only be in the Alliance for 12 days before Gifting starts. Are you telling me players have to choose between AW Season Rewards or the Gifting Event? @Kabam Miike @Kabam Zibiit can we get some clarification on this?

But you WILL have already been in the Alliance by the time gifting begins.

Most likely it would work same as if alliance already reaches some milestones of ANY Event before you personally have contributed any points toward it.
Once you do contribute gifting points, you should be able to claim the existingly reached milestones.

This is different than not even being in the alliance at the time of some milestones reached.

@SummonerNR You're right I just read it again. I thought you had to have been in the Alliance for 14 days to participate AT ALL! So I just won't be able to contribute points or claim any milestones for the first two days, but I'll still be able to participate. Got it, thank you!
