When AQ & AW champions lock removal?

Why do we need to block the champions because of the Quests and the Alliance Wars in 2020?

Why should I choose the time to play in Act 6? I have a job, wife, child. They also require time. I want to play when I feel comfortable, not when the game allows.

Totally agree, don’t see any point in this. They don’t block champs for arena but block for usual quests.
