Taking damage while attacking

Doin map 6 day 4 today and fought an unlinked doc oc, the first one you can fight, and was taking thorn ldamage while using prof X on the first and sometimes last medium hits. I’ve been fighting him all week and this wasn’t happening. For the most part he should be ok against thorns

im not in act 6 yet but i think that might be spiked armor, spiked armor is whenever you do a critical hit u take damage

Prof x’s light attacks are non contact and either only his first or both of his medium are contact, so you’d be taking thorns damage when you do medium
