Why was I booted from Mulaney Chapter 2?

I spent all my units/resources to get through Chapter 2. I ran out of stuff just as I got to the final boss, Spider Ham. So I hit the arenas for a couple days. When I logged on today, i saw it restarted Chapter 2... all progress gone. Why? Cuz this is enough for me to drop the app altogether.

I can only take screenshots now of an untouched Chapter 2 and a depleted inventory.

I’m probably screwed, and that’s fine. I don’t care about the units lost, etc... I’m not doing that event again. That last Mysterio is not fun at all

I am on fight 22 and grinding units in arena. I really hope I don't run into that bug.
