Should I rank up my 5* Crossbones??

I opened a 5* crystal using the anniversary shards given today and pulled a 5 star Crossbones. Do you think it is a good idea to rank him up? Or should I rather wait for another better champ to rank up and continue to rank up my 3/5 45/45 Ghost Rider?
