AQ science symbiote inflicting poison

Tell me I'm not going crazy here? I've always ran the middle path in the first section of AQ Map 5 and I've never been poisoned on node 27 until today, anyone else notice this? ... Has this always been on here but I've just been lucky before?

Weird, we're at a pretty high prestige and a science sym hit me a few times didn't proc poison once. Found it odd. I thought at a certain prestige and up that science syms always poisoned. Idk what happened lol

that particular science symbiotie has a chance to poison your with every hit it lands on you
