Can Spider-Ham Negate “unavoidable degen”

I would assume so and it won’t affect me much if at all for this quest (it could exist in future quests) but can Spider-Ham avoid the “unavoidable degen”?

    He can reduce damage from degeneration effects. I don't think he avoids it

    I'm not sure but I think what they by "unavoidable" is that you can't prevent the degen from activating or shrug it off but there is nothing stopping you from reducing its potency.

    What I'm really interested to know is how awakened Corvus will do on this node.

    Maybe it means reduced by AAR abilities. They would of put that though...

    He does take damage from some degen nodes in the game, like AQ degen node (now is named as direct damage instead of degen)

    You actually can just get the opponent to above 1 bar of power and if you cant use sp2 and if you cant get to as many as you can if it works correctly it reduce the damage

    I was hoping a dev would clarify. It would suck to make a new* unavoidable degen right as a degen immune champ was released. Miles can give him nonsense so we could potentially start a fight at full health and not take 100% damage if the degen ends in 20 seconds. Only time will tell to see how the node works though.

    I think the description in the node says unavoidable for the purpose of getting around that first 100% damage reduction it stated earlier in the node. Devs might see this and change it though.
