KM sp2 versus CMM sp3

Why does a CMM sp3 still damage KM right after he does an sp2? Most sp3s do 0 damage.

My guess would be the extra damage if she is in Binary goes through indestructible because its damage after a move and KMs indestructible counts only against moves? I think the binary bonus damage is technically classified as a dot like Rhulk against the GM during that dot phase

If CMM is in Binary Ignition, her SP3 will deal a burst of damage after it's done. Killmonger's SP2 charges can be used to negate all damage from a special attack, but after that attack all of the charges are removed. Since Killmonger lost his charges after the SP3 ended, CMM damaged you with the extra burst damage.

There should be no extra damage if the attack dealt no damage since the burst is just 30% of damage dealt which was negated aka zero
