Unpopular opinion: ghost is overrated

I know I'm about to get like 200 disagrees but in my opinion, ghost is pretty overrated. She needs almost all of her synergies to get her major benefits, requires an insane amount of skill to play, requires the ai to play along, needs wasp or the enemy not to be stun immune so that she can throw off sp2 properly, needs debuff heavy match-ups to convert into furys for the massive damage, and gets completely shut down by any armor breaks.. Before anyone says im just mad because I don't have her, I have a 6 star version but I barely use her because of all of the requirements to have a really good match-up with her.

She really only needs one synergy to get the most out of her and that's Hood. The rest of what you said is also mostly not true barring getting shut down by armor breaks.

You don't need to stun anyone to get a good special of if you do not run Wasp. Step back and intercept them with your special.
Personally I do not use her over a lot of my other champs. But that is because I simply am not skilled enough to use her properly. If you are skilled with her. There is very little content she cannot shine in.
Usually when people don`t like her, they cannot play her properly.
She is a very very good champ. But like Quake you just need to know how to play her. Unlike say a corvus, who pretty much anyone with 2 vingers can clear content with.

All Wasp does is give her unblockable specials which if you practise enough, you won't need. Also, her base damage on the sp2 by itself without any furies is still pretty good as by that time you usually already have 1 or 2 cruelties. Also, it looks like you don't run suicides.

-Saying she gets shut down by armour breaks is a weak argument as basically every champ has something that shuts them off

-She's not reliant on debuff-heavy matches to deal massive damage

-She does require skill, but the payoff is worthy enough to lift Mjolnir

Maybe it's your preference, but there's just overwhelming evidence to suggest she's on top of the game regardless of anyone's opinion of her.

Ghost unduped is overrated. I hate playing her unduped. I have a r5 sig 200 and a r2 unduped 6* and I don't ever touch the 6*. Getting to an L2 in 5 hits or so because of the power gain is amazing.

Debuff purification, Amazing damage, Guarenteed crits, no need to block, passive power gain when awakened,suicide friendly,tanking sp3,evade counter,etc.

Wow, amazing. Almost everything you just said is wrong. It’s not true that she needs almost all her synergies to be good. The hood synergy is nice for negating unavoidable damage but not necessary. The wasp synergy makes throwing off specials easier but you can easily get around that. And the quantum synergy with wasp and ant man is only good when you have an extra team slot that you don’t need anyone or ghost is the best counter and you want to buff her up more. She does require a lot of skill to play well but why are you complaining about that? Both quake and tigra require a bunch of, and maybe even more, skill and we don’t see you complaining about them. She does require the enemy to play along in some capacity but really they always will unless you’re in low difficulty eq or act 3 which in reality you shouldn’t be using your 6* ghost anyways. Like I said earlier, she doesn’t need wasp to throw big sp2s. There are multiple methods to throw sp2s properly without wasp. Go watch a video on YouTube and then tell me she needs wasp to throw sp2s. She definitely doesn’t need debuff heavy match ups. She just gets a really big bonus when taken against nodes or opponents with lots of debuffs. It would be the same thing as bringing a debuff immune character to a fight. You wouldn’t say a bleed immune character needs a fight that the opponent is bleeding you, now would you. She does get completely shut down by armor breaks but in almost all scenarios the only reason you’d get an armor break is by getting hit by the opponent or messing up in some other way and normally they wear off after a while and you can continue ghosting like normal. There are a few matchups that have unavoidable armor breaks like Hulkbuster or man thing but my response to that is don’t bring ghost. She can do so much content but no champion in this game can do everything and this is one of the only instances ghost doesn’t work.
My advice to you is to use ghost more. From what you’ve said it sounds to me like you haven’t practiced much with ghost or know how to use her well. She’s a character that you continue to learn things the longer you use her and you never stop learning. Debuffs or no debuffs ghost's damage is pretty much up there. Yeah the ai has learnt a lot and becomes too defensive but if you take some time and have patience you will get your openings.

-No insane skill needed just to play, you only need to time some stuff right (the most basic one is hit in between opponents hits, shouldn't be too bad)
-AI has to play along yes, but mostly if you push the enemy into the right corner they become more aggressive.
-Damaging debuffs are just extra, not a must have in every match
-Armor breaks: true, just avoid using her in those matches.
-Still very good unduped, just let the enemy hit you only once while phasing and yeah less power

I think once you get her timing down, which in my opinion is unique to the entire game, then you maximize on her abilities - which have a very high ceiling.

You also have to use her phase mechanic and not block so you can get the most out of that.

Synergies make her even better, but she can be op without them.

there is so much more skill to ghost than tigra. im not claiming to be good at tigra but it just looks like spam heavy, charge heavy to avoid projectile, spam sp1. also i cant talk about quake because I don't have her in any rarity. I tried playing ghost a lot because people said she was good but it just really hard to warrant the insane skill cap. a lot of times, if you dont have the wasp synergy, the ai won't cooperate and it pushes you to an sp3 instead of sp 2

^ wasp is completely unnecessary and you're probably just not experienced to use her without. hood is not needed in 80% of matchups but it brings one of the most unique and incredibly useful things in the game. you can phase and get free heavies in the corner for massive damage. and obviously armor break shuts her down but there are so few nodes/champs that do that

edit: oh and there are a ton of debuff lanes in act six anyway, so id advise getting better with her because shes amazing for the content you seem to be doing
