Best way to explore Act 4?

Not looking for easiest paths or anything, the conflict here is energy. I'm saving my units for mastery cores and don't want to buy any energy refills. Even though its 2 energy per tile the paths are so long and in large quantities per quest, so what's the best way to explore act 4 without spending units on energy refills?

Grind arena and hope to get some energy refills from the arena crystals. Alliance events usually give some too so just save up those and get grinding.

I am not being a smartass, but I don't get what you are asking here. You say you are asking in the context of the energy cost and that you don't want to spend units on refills...so the only answer I could give you is the obvious one...take your time? The only other suggestion I could make would be to enter each of the maps looking for a path you haven't done yet that has a full energy refill on it and do that one. Sincerely not trolling you here. I explored Act 4 with my alt account when the lockdown started...it is very long and soul draining...make sure you have a tv show or something to watch as you grind your way through it.

Slowly. It's a PITA, but you gotta do it if you want those sweet, sweet mastery points.

There are no shortcuts. Expend your energy and wait for it to refill is all there is to it (other than buying the refills which you said you don’t want to do)

The best way is to spend the time to do so. Use all the energy refills you normally get in the game and log on every day to explore act 4. You’ll get there eventually.
