What exactly are the 5* feature drop rates?

The announcement suggests "a chance", which could be anything between 0.0001% and 99.9999%. I've been saving up shards and would like to know the value of what I'm buying.

Along those lines, responses to Support tickets about crystal drop rates come back with suggestions of "many factors" that contribute to crystal spin outcomes. I don't understand how what looks like a random spin has so many factors involved but I'd like to know what those factors are.

Does anyone know?

General consensus is it’s about 15-20%.
I’m personally 1 out of 3 for featureds but I’m sure someone will come in screaming “I’m 0/20 for featureds so it’s not 15-20%!!1!1!!!” But all I have to say to those people in advance, that’s how rng works.

Because when you gamble you’re in the dark about odds for the most part. Maybe aside from the lottery. When you go to a casino they don’t tell you that you have a 1 in 100 chance to hit a blackjack.
