V6 3-4 5* Generic Rank Up Gems for 2017- Champions - Why?

We've moved on to 6* r3 champions... These Rank Up Gems should be for any year champion. 2017 / year-restrictions gives the impression of being out-of-touch or worse, lazy, since this was the same reward in the last variant. Perhaps add in a Rank Down Ticket so the resources can be used to a champion useful - old champions aren't being buffed as promised anyways.

    So many things about this that are wrong... There are lots of 2017 champs that are useful. Blade, Archangel, Sparky, Iceman, Morningstar, and many more. If you don't want the item, don't do the content

    Kabam might as well change the rank up gem to something like this? “Restricted 2017-rank up gem” with an added list of information what champion can use the gem. I just find it dumb that it’s restricted and not open to the whole 2017 or else burn the idea of introducing those gems in future contents.
