Daily quest auto mode

Hi guys,
Hope you are having a wonderful holiday season, and wishing you all a very happy new year!

I wanted to ask about the auto mode of daily quest. Do we need to just finish daily quest 100%, and it is auto for ever, or is it auto only for a limited number of attempts?

Really appreciate the clarity!
